Angola: Environment Ministry Benefits From 3.5 Million Euros From European Union

Luanda — Three million and 500 thousand euros financed by the European Union have been made available for the Angolan Environment Ministry, in the ambit of the compensation policies, gas emission reduction projects, fighting draught and deforestation, informed the incumbent minister, Maria de Fátima Jardim.

In an interview to the press, at the First Tripartite Ministerial Meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Maiombe Trans-Border Initiative, whose presidency is chaired by Angola since Friday, she referred that this amount will also serve for mapping natural zones and replenishing others.
