Uganda: Civil Society Scoff At ICC for Letting Ali 'Walk Free'

The civil society on Monday reacted angrily to failure by the International Criminal Court to confirm charges against Postmaster General Hussein Ali "despite widespread police killings during post-election violence."

Reacting to the ICC judges ruling after watching a live stream from The Hague at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, the leaders said although they respected the court's ruling they were shocked that charges against Gen. (rtd) Ali were dropped.
