Angola: Bié Govt to Invest Akz 1.7 Billion in Education

Kuito — The government of the central Bié province will invest at least AKZ 1.7 billion in education this year.

This was said to Angop on Friday in Kuito province by the local governor, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto.

According to him, this amount will enable to build more schools and residences for education staff in the region.

To Boavida Neto, the referred money will also contribute to carious education expenses, aiming at improving more and more the teaching quality in rural areas of Bié province.

In addition, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto said that his government will also avail AKZ 294.1million in education programme for citizenship in nine districts.
