Liberia: MOE Promotes French Culture

The Division of National French Program at the Ministry of Education has completed a one-day workshop for French instructors from Junior and Senior public high schools across Montserrado County.

The workshop, which brought together hundreds of teachers is aimed at restructuring and revitalizing methods of teaching and learning the French language in Liberia as well as promote the French culture here.

The head of the Division of National French Program Madam Esther Collins said the division will consult with other stakeholders to improve the teaching of French in the country.

Madam Collins also disclosed that the program is as well intended to develop proposals on institutional basis to enable schools that are not teaching French language as a subject to benefit in the interest of the entire school system of Liberia.
