Angola: Groups of Icolo E Bengo, Kissama Confirmed in Luanda Carnival

Luanda — The carnival groups Do Dungo and Os Nzambas from the municipalities of Icolo e Bengo and Kissama have guaranteed presence in the class A parade of Luanda, scheduled for February 21 at marginal avenue in Luanda.

The information was released to press by the culture provincial department chief, Manuel Gonçalves, who emphasized the integration of the groups in order to encourage them to make contact with reality of the carnival in the capital taking into account that in 2011 they attended the parade in the province of Bengo.

Alongside these groups, the two municipalities will still have in the parade of Luanda the groups União Pita da Kissama, adult in the class B and the Cassules do Icolo e Bengo in the children parade.
