With or without the Jerabo Unit to put up the fire-powered deadly stage antics that should never be tried at home, Dalisoul "Mwana wa Mkomboni" has just reached that peak where he would never fail to spellbind his audiences.
This was evident at last Friday night's performance at Lusaka's Fahrenheit Club where he unveiled another of his talents.
To him, nothing is impossible as long as it is done in the name of God just as one of his hit tracks 'Mdzina lache" (in the name of God) suggests. He would just say Ulekeni Mlamba utelele -in some way seemingly meaning 'let what must be just be' even without the Jerabo things will work out.
But tonight is a different night as he is back at the same venue with his deadly combination of the Jerabo unit to give that thrilling power packed performance that cannot be missed.
Indeed Dalisoul put up a splendid solo performance with most of his hit tracks like Osayopa condom, Chipyango and Mdzina lache, being enough to put the audience on its feet. With his hooking antics, like the high kicks, the Fahrenheit audience was simply wowed and agreeable to the fact that the man is simply an international entertainer.
But one thing that seemed to have come out prominent that night was Dalisoul's untapped comedy talent. Believe it or not, Dalisuol sent his audience into serious fits of laughter as he narrated how life in the shanties is enjoyed.
According to him, comedy is simply one of the hooks he uses to entertain the audience in the absence of the Jerabo unit who were by then on the Copperbelt. He did not take comedy as a lucrative act.
But surprisingly, that earned Mwana wa Mkomboni a fortune as the proprietor of the club suggested a deal for him which he sealed for next month.
Wednesday comedy night with Dalisoul it is!
Those who saw him would agree that the man has a rare comical talent which he himself admits that has not fully been exploited.
Anyway, tonight the same stage has different colours, different energy and different antics but same tune! Miss it at your own choice.
Dalisoul on Friday last week shared the stage with the likes of Tolo of Ndiwe sweetie wandi fame and Richi Bizzy who mesmerised the audience especially with his Zambian version and lyrics of Sawa sawa song which at some point last year chocked the Zambian airwaves.
Tomorrow Saturday night, Dalisoul is at the popular Mahela night club in Kalingalinga township where he is again expected to combine forces with his power packed Jerabo unit.
