Ghana: Kotoko Crush Third-Tier Side to Advance

Asante Kotoko, losing finalist in the last edition of the MTN FA Cup demolished visitors Swallah United 4-0 in the Round of 64 on Sunday.

A goal each from Michael Akuffu, Daniel Nii Adjei, Michael Mensah and Abdul Baba Rahman ensured that the Porcupine Warriors progress to the next round of the competition.

Akuffu got the opener from a penalty as Kotoko finished the first half 1-0 up.

The second half saw Nii Adjei and Mensah increase the goal tally before Baba Rahman scored the fourth on the stroke of full time to book their place in the last 32.
