Angola: Local Ambassador Received in Foreign Affairs Ministry

Harare — Angolan ambassador Pedro Hendrik Vaal Neto was received recently by the director of Africa, Middle East and Pacific Department of Foreign Affairs Ministry in Zimbabwe, Twunga Mushayavanhu, with whom he discussed matters related to bilateral ties between Angola and Zimbabwe.

Still this week, Pedro Hendrik Vaal Neto met with dean of diplomatic body accredited in that country, the ambassador of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Mawampanga Mwana Nanga.

The two interlocutor analysed the functioning of the group of ambassadors of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) resident in Harare.

On the hand, the Angolan ambassador held meetings with counterparts of Japan, Yonezo Fuquda, Canada, Lisa Stadelbauer, Namibia, Panduleni-Kaino Shingenge and Mozambique, Vicente Veloso.

With the Mozambican ambassador, Pedro Hendrik Vaal Neto approached matters linked to the operation of SADC group and that of Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP) whose the institutional chair is currently held by Angola.
