Nigeria: Okonjo-Iweala to Rule On Margin Loan Forbearance Soon

The Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Mr. Oscar Onyema has revealed that the finance Minister, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala will soon take a decision on the margin loan forbearance for stock brokers. Such decision he said will help in determining the new direction for the nation's stock market.

Onyema who made the disclosure recently at the Lagos Exchange said that the Exchange has been on the forefront of insuring that the stock broking firms are given debt forbearance, on the lingering margin loan issue.
