AGRICULTURAL Co-operative Agra has announced strong financial results for the fiscal year ending July 2011.
The date marked a milestone for the company as it celebrated 30 years of existence. Despite increased competition following an influx of foreign companies into the market, Agra saw a profit of N$171,3 million, 17,5 per cent higher than last year. A strengthening livestock division was responsible for N$43,6 million, up 32 per cent from 2010.
