Nigeria: Intercontinental Bank Staff Protest Sack

Sacked staff of Intercontinental Bank Plc yesterday held a peaceful protest in Abuja over their termination of appointments by the bank's management.

The protesting workers carried placards with messages that read: 'Say no to injustice, give us our gratuity'; 'over 1,500 injected into the labour market'; 'Give us disengagement letters not termination letters'; 'Appraisal system targeted at Intercontinental bank', among others.
