Eritrea: Vigorous Efforts Made to Meet Demand of Plastic Material

Massawa — Vigorous efforts are being made by Massawa Plastic Factory to meet demand of such materials needed in national development endeavors, including the putting in place of infrastructure facilities, stated the Manager of the factory, Mr. Mehari Segid.

He explained that the factory is equipped with modern machinery and produces 17 types of plastic pipes with diameters ranging from 20 to 315 centimeters. The head of the production unit of the factory, Mr. Berhane Yemane, said on his part that previously the majority of plastic materials were imported, but now with the production on the basis of internal resources would play vital role in the national development drive.
