Nigeria: Police Rescue Abducted Housewife in Abuja

The Commissioner of Police in Abuja Mike Zuokumor yesterday said they have rescued a housewife (names withheld) unhurt from her kidnappers.

Zuokumor said while parading the kidnappers in Abuja that the woman was seized by gang of kidnappers at a place in the central business district where she escorted one of her visitors. She was later taken to the kidnapper's hideout in Area 1 Garki who placed a ransom of N20 million for her release.
