Namibia: Two in Court for Insulting President

Oshakati — An ongoing feud between two Oshakati based brothers and their former employees, turned ugly as this time around, a case of crimen injuria was opened against Dion and Marius Nagel for allegedly insulting former President Sam Nujoma and incumbent Hifikepunye Pohamba.

Eliaser Shikongo, a former employee and business partner of the two South African brothers and one of his former colleagues Paulus Mbango Kamenye opened two separate cases with Oshakati Police, claiming that the Nagel brothers had insulted President Pohamba and Dr. Sam Nujoma and mocked the Namibian Government and Swapo on several occasions during their time of employment at the brothers' businesses.
