Cameroon: South West Crafts Steal Show at Siarc

The region's 30 flagbearers at SIARC have products of diverse backgrounds and taste. As the curtains gradually drop for the third edition of Cameroon's International Handicrafts Exhibition, SIARC 2012, craftsmen and women from the South West Region will live to remember and probably benefit from the impact they have created during the show. The region is represented at the show by 30 craftsmen and women with mouth-watery products that are leaving no visitor indifferent.

From Mrs Mbome Constance, a teacher-turned craftswoman with fine fashion design and serigraphic products to Lekuma Godwin, aka "Bamboo Magic" with creative bamboo works through Fomo Clara with interior/exterior decoration, among others, the region's craft products have been stealing the show. Spaghetti from cassava and plantains, pepper in cubes, Cameroon map-like washing soap (CEMAR), jewellery from palm kernel and others are some of the products in the stands.
