Nigeria: Dickson Versus INEC - Court Rules On Sylva's Joinder Application

Abuja — AN Abuja Federal High Court, Maitama, will today decide whether or not the immediate past governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Timipre Sylva, should be part of a suit filed against Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The suit was filed by the controversial governorship primary winner, Seriake Dickson, asking the court to compel the electoral umpire to include his name as candidate in the February 11, governorship election in the state.
