I have watched with deep concern the submissions by the public to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) after the body started going round the country to gather views on the proposed 80 new constituencies and boundaries (delimitation).
I expected it to evoke a lot of emotions and arguments owing to the stakes at hand. Moreover, with in-depth knowledge of the Kenyan society and the different communities and compositions thereof, I did not expect anything different.
