Abuja — Federal Government is heavily funding basic education in the country in order to produce graduates that can compete globally, the Minister of State for Education, Mr. Nyesom Wike, has said.
He told journalists in Abuja that the poor quality of Nigerian graduates had been traced to poor basic education background and that the effective way to address the problem was to firm up the quality of basic education.
