Nigeria: MT Mbu, Nationalist and Diplomat, Dies At 82

The family of Chief Matthew Tawo Mbu, Monday, announced the passing away of the elder statesman, diplomat and first republic politician, at the age of 82.

THISDAY gathered that he died at a London Hospital Monday morning, after a prolonged illness.

It was not immediately certain what he died of, but sources close to the family hinted that is old-age related ailment.
