South Africa: Promised Transport for Sick Moms and Children Not Being Provided, Say Du Noon Residents

Mothers of young children in Du Noon Township and Doornbach informal settlement who need medical attention, are having to either pay for public transport or walk about ten kilometers to receive attention at the Table View clinic.

Because of its substandard conditions, the Du Noon clinic was shut down for four days as the community protested over conditions there from January 20 to 25.
