Angola: Over 600,000 Children Immunised Against Polio

Benguela — The province of Benguela expects to vaccinate in the next immunisation campaign against poliomyelitis to be held on March 2-4, about 625,000 children, reported Friday the head of the department of public health and control of endemic diseases, Antonio Manuel Cabinda.

Antonio Cabinda, who was speaking in a meeting with social partners, said there were involved 8,425 vaccinators to achieve the outlined objectives that aim to prevent contamination of the virus in children under five years of age.
