The People's Assembly agreed at its session on 13/2/2012under Dr. Saad el Katatni on an initial report by the fact finding mission on Port Said incidents.

The lower house agreed on referring the initial report to the committee to complete it and submit a final report soon.

Lawmakers of the People's Assembly agreed on Monday to refer a bill regulating the presidential elections to the legislative committee.

A law on the issue had been enacted shortly before holding the first session of the PA, MP Mohamed al-Omda, a co-sponsor of the bill, said, noting that it has not removed the flaws of the presidential elections law which was enacted by the ousted regime in 2005, he said.

Al-Omda said the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) has not amended Article 38 of the law, which tackles the vote counting and announcement of results.
