Egypt: Local Investments in Ethiopia Up By U.S.$2.2 Billion

Egyptian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Mohamed Fathi Edris, on Wednesday 15/2/2012 asserted that the volume of Egyptian investments in Ethiopia hit $2.2 billion while Egyptian-Ethiopian relations have ushered in a new positive phase, , adding new ideas and proposals are being discussed by officials of the two countries to establish an Egyptian trade and industrial zone in Addis Ababa.

Edris pointed out Egyptian-Ethiopian business council will hold a meeting by the end of February on the sidelines of Egyptian participation in the international trade exhibition in Addis Ababa, adding the delegation includes a large number of companies' representatives.
