THE National Environment Management Authority in Chuka has issued an ultimatum to the Chogoria PCEA hospital to seek alternative means of disposing its liquid and solid waste saying it poses health risks to residents neighbouring the hospital.
An environmental audit carried out by Nema revealed that the hospital water treatment system is defective and requires immediate repairs to stop further pollution of water sources around the hospital and its environs.
