Uganda: Over 150,000 Students Miss Admission to Govt Schools

Inadequate facilities such as classrooms and shortage of teachers have denied more than 150,000 students direct admission into government-aided schools, officials confirmed yesterday.

According to Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) executive secretary Mathew Bukenya, 254,024 students passed last year's UCE exams.
