Former Grand Kru Senator Blamoh Nelson formally takes over the gavel of authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs this Friday.
A release said the ceremony follows Hon. Nelson’s nomination by the President, confirmation by the Senate and subsequent Executive appointment.
The official ceremony will be graced by several personalities including Traditional Leaders, County Superintendents and Development Partners amongst others.
Employees of the Ministry are in high gear in preparation for the Turn-over ceremony which is expected to be held at the Ministry on Capitol Hill in the afternoon.
Former Grand Kru county Senator will take over the affairs of the Ministry from Out-going Minister Harrison S. Karnwea Sr. who steered the affairs of the institution for nearly two years and is said to be retiring to private life.
Meanwhile the public is invited to the program.
