South Africa's house music mix-master, Euphonik is set to perform at Horizon Bar in Bulawayo early March.

Euphonik, aka Themba Nkosi, normally showcases his great mixing skills on Sunday evenings on an 5 FM programme called My House. He has an outstanding flare for mixing that has seen him amassing popularity in house music circles. The show is organised by Booka T Promotions in collaboration with Hella Hella Entertainment and Promotions.

Booka T spokesperson, Andrew "D-Rock" Khanye said Euphonik will stage his only show in Zimbabwe before he goes to Miami, USA where he has shows lined up for the whole month.

"Through this show (dubbed House Music Legends Part-One), we want to liven up the entertainment scene in Bulawayo. We want to do shows that bring popular artists in the region and internationally in the city."

Khanye said Euphonik of the Domination and Seng'khathele fame will only play for two hours.

"He plays a style called mash up. It needs a lot of effort hence he will only play for two hours because he mixes live."

Khanye said the show would be one of a series of shows that will be held at Horizon this year.

"There are a number of house music legends that will be brought to Bulawayo until the end of the year. We are looking at not less than 10 shows that will be spread throughout the year," he said.

"Lucky revellers will walk away with a Blackberry, Diesel and Ferrari watches, all valued at more than R4 000," he said.
