Nigeria: Akwa-Ibom Ndlea Arrests 261 Suspects, Impounds 1,108.3kg of Hard Drugs

Akwa Ibom State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, said that it arrested over 261 suspected drug peddlers in 2011.

State commander of the Agency, Mrs. Josephine Obi, who disclosed this, yesterday, in Uyo while briefing news men on the activities of the agency said that the command also seized 1,108.3kilogrammes of hard drugs worth millions of naira and 136 litres of combination of alcohol and cannabis sativa during the year under review.
