Tanzania: Mafunzo Coach Remain Optimistic Despite Defeat

Zanzibar — DESPITE losing 2-0 to Muculmana of Mozambique in a CAF Champions League match on Sunday night at Amani Stadium, Mafunzo head coach Hemed Suleiman says his side will win the return match in the next two weeks.

In a poorly attended match, both teams did not show impressing game, but Mozambique players were lucky, while host team Mafunzo's players failed to utilize the ample opportunities in the second half. Muculmana's goals were scored by Mauricio Pegnuerino at 11th minute before Manuel Mbalango at the 22nd minute. Both goals were a result of a corner kick by Mustapha Ismail.
