Plans for regional integration in the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN dominated Southwest are presently challenged by the oddity of a Labour Party controlled Ondo State. ACN's schemes for political hegemony were last weekend publicly rebuffed by Governor Segun Mimiko of Ondo State. The poser on the capacity of Iroko as Mimiko is popularly known to resist the Jagaban forces of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu would soon be an issue.

THE quest for political hegemony by the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, the dominant political party in the Southwest took another twist last Sunday with the declaration by Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko that one single political party cannot dominate the region.
