Nigeria: Swift Count - Observers Fighting Over N1 Million Largesse Are Impostors

The Project Swift Count (PSC), a joint initiative of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Transition Monitoring Group (TMG), Federation of Muslim Women's Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN) and Justice, Development and Peace/Caritas Nigeria (JDPC) has said that election observers who purportedly fought over N1 million largesse in Sokoto recently were impostors.

There was a mild drama last Monday at the Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Sokoto, when observers numbering about 30 under the platform of INEC accredited election observers for Sokoto governorship election fought over the money.
