Angola: Home Affairs Deputy Minister Expected in Ondjiva

Ondjiva — Angola's Home Affairs deputy minister, José Puna Zau, is expected on Thursday in Ondjiva City, southern Cunene Province, to learn of the functioning of the sector, ANGOP has learnt.

The official may be received at the local airport by the governor António Didalelwa, with whom he will have a courtesy meeting, according to his agenda.

A meeting with the members of the consultative council of the Police Provincial Command, as well as with the delegation of the Home Ministry are also part of the agenda.

José Puna Zau is also expected to go to Ombandja Municipality, to check the accommodation conditions of the detainees at the Péu-Péu prison, 122 kilometres off Ondjiva City.
