Kenya: Intrigues Persist Over EACC Nominees

Nairobi, Kenya — Two Members of Parliament are questioning the intentions of a letter written by the Prime Minister Raila Odinga withdrawing his support for the three nominees to the Ethics and Anti corruption Commission (EACC).

Mukuruweini MP Kabando wa Kabando and his nominated counterpart George Nyamweya told journalists that the decision by the prime minister to write to a letter withdrawing support for the names without consulting the president was in bad faith.
