Brong-Ahafo Regional Mobile Patrol team of the Customs Division of Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has intercepted smuggled goods worth GH¢ 27,000 on the Techiman-Kintampo highway.
The goods, with a duty element of about GH¢ 12,000, included more than 1,550 pieces of imitated wax print, 250 pieces of curtain materials, three boxes of fine cigarettes, eight boxes of viahagoa (banned aphrodisiac), seven pieces of heavy-duty car batteries and 10 pieces of decoder and accessories.
