Nigeria: Boko Haram - Onaiyekan Advocates Urgent Review of Sharia Law

Archbishop of the Abuja Catholic Diocese, John Olorunfemi Onaiyekan has stressed the need for a review of the Sharia Law currently in effect in some states of the federation, as a step towards restoring peace in the nation.

Delivering a sermon at the ongoing Plenary of The Bishops' Conference, Onaiyekan expressed immense dissatisfaction at the unending violence in the country, with specific reference to the Madalla Christmas bombing.
