Nigeria: Huriwa Tasks Jonathan, Others On Assets' Declaration

A group, Human Rights Writers' Association Of Nigeria (HURIWA), has tasked President Goodluck Jonathan, the Senate President, David Mark, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal as well as the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Dahiru Musdapher, to publish their assets' declarations immediately to show that the fight against corruption is on course.

The rights group also faulted the head of Code Of Conduct Bureau (CCB), for justifying the failure of the President and other high profile government functionaries to declare their assets publicly.
