Nigeria: Gaidam Pledges Jobs for Youths

In Maiduguri — Governor Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe State has said that his administration will recruit more youth into the state civil service and empower those without formal school certificates to address the problem of youth unemployment in the state.

A release made available to Daily Trust by the Governor's Special Adviser on Press Affairs and Information, Abdullahi Bego said Gaidam revealed the youth recruitment plan during an interactive session with community leaders and elders from the 17 local government areas of the state at the Government House, Damaturu.
