Gambia/Senegal: Two Clubsides Chase Continental Glory

Two top tier Gambian clubs Brikama United and Gamtel travels to Dakar, Senegal on Wednesday 29th February and Thursday 1st March, 2012 respectively for the return leg fixtures of the preliminary round of the Orange Champions League and the Confederation Cup Competitions.

Brikama United who lost to US Ouakam a goal to nil in the first leg at the Box Bar Stadium in Brikama will play their host at the famous Estade Demba Diop in Dakar on Saturday 4th March 2012 while Gamtel who enjoyed a narrow 1-0 win margin over their opponents Cassa Sport play the following day Sunday 5th March 2012 at the sameEstade Demba Diop.

GFA Administrative Secretary Baboucarr Jobe better known as Pa Sulay is heading the Brikama United contingent while technical director Momodou Kebba Masanneh Ceesay will be the chief mission of the Telecommunication boys to Dakar, Senegal. The Gambia Football Association in a press release issued by its Media and Communications officer, Bakary B Baldeh solicits the support of all Gambians for both club's pursuit in the return legs of their respective competitions.
