Egypt: Bourse Gains Egp15 Billion This Week

Egypt's bourse gained EGP 15 billion during this week trading.

EGX main index recorded its highest level during the past eight months driven by a host of positive factors.

Investor's confidence increased following setting a date for presidential election along with acquitting business tycoon Naguib Sawiris of charges pertaining to contempt of religion.

During the week trading sessions, index EGX 30 rose by 0.44 percent to 5,370 points.

EGX 70 index rose by 3.5 percent to 519 points while EGX 100 index upped by 3.78 percent to 873 points.
