Nigeria: FG Asks States to Embrace Social Security Scheme

The Federal Government has advised the 36 state governments across the country to embrace the Employee Compensation Scheme (ECS) with a view to ensuring safety in workplaces.

Also, the full implementation of social security scheme in the country commenced with the presentation of a cheque for N557,800 to the management of Capa & Dalberto Limited, the first beneficiary from the scheme which provides compensation for workplace injuries.
