Nigeria: FUT Minna Spends N150 Million On Open Distance, E-Learning Program

Minna — Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, Professor Mohammad Audu, yesterday said that his university has expended over N150 million on preparations for the commencement of the Open Distance and e-Learning program in the institution.

Audu, who spoke during the opening ceremony of a five day workshop organized for lecturers of the university, said the university's decision to introduce the program was informed by the increase in the number of people seeking higher education.
