An Assistant Superintendant of Police (ASP) Charles Anyanwu, kidnapped on Feb, 3, has been rescued from his kidnappers by men of the Imo State Police Command.
Anyanwu was kidnapped by armed men at the gate of his residence in Irete community in Imo.The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Samuel Oodee, told newsmen yesterday in Owerri, that the kidnapper earlier demanded N30 million as ransom.
