Freedom and Justice Party leader, Hassan Al-Bishbishy, has revealed that the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and the ultraconservative Al-Nour Party will support head of the Supreme Judiciary Council, Hossam Al-Gheryani, for president.

Al-Bishbishy indicated that negations between the MB and Al-Gheryani have been taking place where a decision is expected to be reached soon, Al-Masry Al-Youm reported.

Meanwhile, the liberal Al-Wafd Party had suggested for the Brotherhood to support head of the ruling military's Advisory Council, Mansour Hassan, but the MB expressed its desire to back a candidate of religious background.
