At last, the much-awaited revival of the decrepit Hotel Presidential, Enugu, has begun in earnest.
The once prestigious hotel and one of the legacies of the late premier of the defunct Eastern Region, Dr. Michael Iheonukara Okpara, was left to rot away by successive governments, but today, the Enugu State government has handed over the facility to a Bulgarian firm with a mandate to renovate and manage it temporarily.
