Africa: When the World Goes ZAM

ZAM magazine has been a household name in the Dutch-African community since 1997. Starting as a magazine about southern Africa, it developed over the years into a successful multimedia platform. But since it was in Dutch, its growth had limits. With a launch party in the heart of Amsterdam, ZAM has just unveiled its first international edition.

"5...4...3...2...1..! There it is!" cheers the crowd as a delivery man arrives with two large parcels and rips them open. Much applause follows. With this festive opening, ZAM's first international issue in English has been released. The magazine will be distributed via its network in Lagos, New York, Johannesburg, Douala, London, Brussels, Accra and Cape Town.
