Nigeria: EU Approves N20 Billion for Anti-Corruption, Others

The European Union has approved 98 million Euro (about N19.9 billion) to support the justice, anti-corruption and drugs sectors in Nigeria.

Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) in Nigeria, Ms. Mariam Sissoko, said at the signing of the project yesterday in Abuja that the outcome of the project is to strengthen anti-corruption policy making, coordination and monitoring mechanisms, strengthening of institutional and operational capacity and empowerment of civil society organisations.
