South Africa: Overseas College Dirty Hands to Boost Community Sport

The South Nottingham College rugby and football teams will be arriving in Cape Town shortly on their annual tour of the City. During their stay they will visit certain areas in previously disadvantaged communities as well as play a few games of soccer and rugby against teams from those areas and their immediate surrounds.

In addition, they will be hosting coaching clinics with the children in the respective areas. Furthermore, the rugby and teams players will complete a manual project and this year it will be at Manenberg's Red River Primary School where they will be painting and refurbishing the school.

The Balls to Poverty team in conjunction with their partners, PFA and Sports Stepping Stones Cape Town, South Africa, would appreciate any co-operation and support of all area councilors, community leaders, business entities and NGO's in its venture towards upliftment within these respective communities. Anyone who contributes towards the project will received adequate publicity in the various print and electronic media plus the local founders will reciprocate by individual mentioning said business or councillors at every given opportunity.
