South Africa: Super 15 Rugby - Grant Leads From the Front

Another victory for the DHL Stormers, though not without the odd hiccup. Facing a buoyant Blues team after they beat the Bulls the previous week, the Stormers come out guns blazing. Not allowing the Blues backrow or potent backline any space, they created enough pressure to ensure a surfeit of possession.

In turn for the first time this season the Stormers backline could run around the park with some intelligent play. Although only scoring 2 tries, both from the backline, they set up enough opportunities which augur well for the long season ahead. This much is what coach Coetzee alluded to in his post match interview, "it's only a pass here and there what is missing, it's only a matter of time before everything clicks." The Stormers are away to a much improved Lions team this weekend.
