Mali in a State of Confusion

Since Malian soldiers declared that they have seized power, the country's population is anxiously awaiting more news.

"Here in Bamako we have no idea what is happening," says Moulaye Haidara, RNW's representative in Mali. "We know nothing more than what the group of soldiers said on television this morning. Everybody stayed home today due to the declared curfew."
