Nigeria: Kebbi Acting Governor Sacks SSG, HoS

Birnin-Kebbi — Kebbi State acting governor Aminu Musa Habib Jega has approved the removal of the Secretary to the State Government, Arc. Ahmad Muhammed Sama and the state's Head of Service, Alhaji Ahmed Bunza.

A statement from the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the governor Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Argungu said the sack was with immediate effect.

He added that the acting governor has appointed Alhaji Nura Usman Kangiwa, the sole administrator of Arewa Local Government as the new Secretary to the State Government.

The statement added that Alhaji Buhari Halidu Jega, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of

Science Technical Education has been appointed as the new Head of Service.

The acting governor thanked both the outgoing Secretary to the State Government and the Head of Service for their services. The new SSG was sworn-in yesterday by the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Zakari Isah Gulma while the state's Head of Service would be sworn in today.
